ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL RADIOLOGY

Digital imaging and advanced imaging modality (CT) for the assessment and evaluation of periodontal and endodontic diseases, missing teeth, oral tumors, jaw fractures, TMJ evaluations, and permanent tooth assessment for puppies.
   

ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY

Complicated and uncomplicated extractions, oral tumor resection, jaw fracture repair and reconstruction, oronasal fistula and palatal defect repairs, and replantation of accidentally lost teeth (tooth avulsion) or luxated teeth. 

ORAL MEDICINE

Diagnosis and treatment of medically-related disorders and oral conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region, such as stomatitis, autoimmune diseases affecting the oral cavity, orofacial pain and infections, and oral manifestations of systemic disease. 

ENDODONTICS

Root canal therapy (fractured teeth with and without pulp exposure, abscesses, infected pulp canals), crown reductions with vital pulp treatment, apexogenesis, and apexification.

PERIODONTICS

Treatment of all stages of periodontal disease, complete dental prophylaxis, root planing/curettage, gingivectomies, and other mucogingival surgeries including guided tissue and bone regeneration, and periodontal splinting.

RESTORATIONS/PROSTHODONTICS

Composite restorations, metal and non-metal crowns, dental implants, bridges, and dentinal bonding.

ORTHODONTICS

Genetic counseling, bite evaluations, correction of common malocclusions, orthodontic appliances, and orthognathic surgery.

Katrina Hall-Essoe, DVM

Diplomate, American Veterinary Dental College

Dr. Katrina Hall-Essoe is a Board Certified Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry. She graduated cum laude from Tuskegee University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA in 1996 and a residency in small animal medicine and dentistry at Main Street Small Animal Hospital in San Diego, CA. Dr. Hall-Essoe 
presents continuing education seminars to veterinarians and veterinary technicians.




















Sarah Bonner, DVM

Diplomate, American Veterinary Dental College


Dr. Bonner is a Board Certified Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry. Dr. Sarah Bonner graduated with honors from University of California, Davis in 2007. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at University of Minnesota in 2008 and a residency in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery at University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia in 2011.
